Andy Cohen to Host a New Limited Series About Reality TV: "This Series Is like Great Candy" (UPDATED)
Andy Cohen will host and executive produce E!'s For Real: The Story of Reality TV.
UPDATED (FEBRUARY 12, 12:12 PM): On Friday, February 12, it was announced that Andy Cohen's new E! series, For Real: The Story of Reality TV, will premiere on Thursday, March 25 at 9/8c. The seven-part limited event series will be hosted and executive produced by the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host — and it sounds pretty juicy and revealing.
"There's some TV moments you never forget," Andy previously teased about the series, citing several memorable moments including the RHONJ table flip, among others. "But what if we could rewind the clock and revisit them again?"
The show will feature "all new inside scoop when we hear from the icons who lived it," according to Andy, who added, "I hope you're ready 'cause we're gonna spill some reali-tea."
Get ready to see Andy dish with the Kardashian-Jenner family ahead of the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, as well as a conversation with Kandi Burruss, Vivica A. Fox, and producers Holly Carter and Mona Scott-Young celebrating Black women in reality TV.
The series will also feature interviews with those who made reality TV what it is today, including several familiar faces to Bravo fans. Check out the official trailer, below.

The new year is looking bright: Andy Cohen is set to host and executive produce a new limited series on E!, For Real: The Story of Reality TV. The seven-part limited event series has been greenlit by E! and will premiere in early 2021.
On the show, Andy will reflect on the impact reality TV has made on society and will take a look back on iconic reality television moments from shows including The Real Housewives, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Bachelor, The Real World, Survivor, and more. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host will explore a pivotal theme or moment from reality television and he'll sit down with some of the biggest most memorable names in the unscripted world and include commentary from industry pioneers, producers, and journalists.
“I’m thrilled to look back at the shows that formed my love for reality TV and interview the icons of the genre,” Andy said in a statement. “This series is like great candy!”
The show will get the scoop from the legends who lived through reality TV's most memorable moments as well as take a look at how reality TV has evolved since its inception and the way it's radically affected society on a global scale.
