Yolanda Foster May Have Moved Out of Her Home, But We'll Never Forget *That* Fridge
The #RHOBH kitchen accessory is not just an appliance; it's a work of art.
That ocean view. That stunning dining table. That incredible grand piano. There was a lot to love about the Malibu mansion The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Yolanda Foster shared with her legendary record producer husband David.
But as we all know, all good things must come to an end, and Yolanda and David recently moved out of their palacial home in an effort to focus on her recovery from Lyme disease in a more manageable abode. Though we're of course going to miss all of the above, saying goodbye to Yolanda's masterpiece of a fridge is going to be the toughest of all.
Yolanda's fridge was a focal point of her kitchen and possibly even of her entire home. Somehow, Yolanda managed to make food look even more delish by arranging the produce in baskets like it was in a fancy supermarket or something. And those drinks? Simply mouthwatering. All in all, with its clear glass doors and shelves, Yolanda's fridge looked more like something that belonged in a high-end boutique than a home, but it seemed to fit perfectly in the crib of this sophisticated lady.
"I came up with this design. I got out of bed, drew it, and started building it the next day," Yolanda said of her "famous fridge" during a tour of her home. "I think anybody who visits my house, they always go, 'Oh my God! I want a fridge like that,' so a lot of copies are being made, and I'm proud of that."
It's easy to see why Yolanda's fridge had so many admirers. The appliance stole the show when it was first introduced during one of Yolanda's dinner parties in Season 3 of RHOBH. But if you were to encounter Yolanda's fridge in real life, you probably wouldn't be able to keep your cool any better than Lisa Rinna did last season. Lisa was so in awe of the enormity of Yolanda's walk-in fridge that she had to just climb inside and get up close and personal with it. (Don't worry, Lisa. We would've done the exact same thing.)
You know your fridge is kind of a big deal when it has its own Twitter and Instagram accounts. The public has been able to keep up with the comings and goings of Yolanda's fridge through the aptly named @YolandasFridge accounts for the past few years. They have not only kept us in the loop on news about Yolanda and her family, but they have also given us some cheeky insight into what it's like being Yolanda's most-coveted appliance. Spoiler alert: It's pretty amazing.
Oh, Yolanda's fridge, what are we ever going to do without you? It won't be easy, but here's hoping Yolanda finds a fridge that's just as epic in her next home.
