Yolanda Hadid Says She Has a "Superficial" Friendship with This 'Wife
"It’s a Hollywood friendship. Let's put it that way," the #RHOBH mom said on #WWHL.
Appearances can be deceiving, and it would seem that statement can be applied to Yolanda Hadid and Lisa Vanderpump's relationship. When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, she commented on the state of affairs between she and the restaurateur.
"I don't think she dislikes me. I think that we just never had an intimate friendship like girlfriends should have, and I think the reason is because her friendship and loyalty was with [my ex-husband] Mohamed [Hadid], so our friendship has always been very superficial," she told a caller. "But I don’t think she hates me."
However, when Andy Cohen noted that "I get the sense from her that she feels you do have a genuine friendship," Yolanda had this to add, "It’s a Hollywood friendship. Let's put it that way."
While Lisa may have been close to Mohamed at one point, their friendship has not been the same since Lisa claimed that he told her that his children Bella and Anwar do not have Lyme disease, as mom Yolanda has previously said. He later addressed the statement, shooting down Lisa's comments. "They haven't spoken for eight months since she made that statement that Mohamed said the children aren't sick," Yolanda said on WWHL. "He hasn't spoken to her since."
While on WWHL, Yolanda also addressed her current relationship with estranged husband, David Foster. Hear what she had to say, below.
