What Does Erika Girardi Think of Yolanda Hadid Not Returning to RHOBH?
The #RHOBH songstress reveals how the departure will affect their friendship.
Last week, Yolanda Hadid said she would not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season. Many will miss the #ProudMommy, but perhaps not quite as much as her good friend Erika Girardi, who Yolanda introduced into the group last season of RHOBH. "It's terrible, but she has to do what's right for her," Erika recently told Access Hollywood.
Just as they had been friends for years before RHOBH, Erika and Yolanda will continue to be friends beyond the show, the "How Many F***s?" singer assured us during the interview. "I wish her well on her journey," she said. "That doesn't stop my friendship from her. I was just on the phone with her like two days ago anyway, so nothing changes except she's not on camera."
After a season focused on Yolanda's continuing battle with Lyme disease, Erika also gave an update on her friend's health during a sit-down with Jenny McCarthy on her SiriusXM show Dirty, Sexy, Funny Thursday. "She feels good. She's getting better," Erika said.
Jenny commented that it seemed like Yolanda's "recovery happened awfully quickly," but Erika said her friend is still very much dealing with this disease. "She is not 100 percent better," Erika explained. "No, she's got a long way to go. She just had another surgery, like, two weeks ago. I don't want to say what it is because that's not fair for me to say. But she's not 100 percent. She's still in there. She's still fighting."
