After 25-Pound Weight Loss, Drew Barrymore Is Struggling to Stick to Her Diet

Drew Barrymore knows that diet is not an endgame but a lifelong journey.

Drew Barrymore recently shed 25 pounds. To slim down, the actress cut out processed foods and carbs, loaded up on fresh veggies and salads, got her protein from chicken and fish, and snacked on nuts. But now that she's reached her goal weight, will Barrymore continue to follow the same eating routine? The jury's out on that one. 

In a recent Instagram post, the Santa Clarita Diet star captured an all-too-relatable feeling about pizza in a funny photo. The image showed pizza behind glass, with the notice: "In case of emergency break glass" scrawled across it. In the caption, the actress wrote: "This is exactly how I feel on my diet right now."

Fans sent so much love, support, and commiseration to the actress through her post — because who among lifelong dieters can't relate to that feeling?

And we're talking about mere mortals, sure. But even celebs get their cheat days in. Exhibit A: Jax Taylor, who definitely has a little Domino's every now and again, even if he is getting in shape for his upcoming wedding. And Exhibit B: Even a fitness pro like Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave needs her cheat days too.
