Amid Jordyn Woods Scandal, Tristan Thompson Surfaces for a Cryptic Wine Toast

As the cheating scandal between Khloe Kardashian's estranged boyfriend Tristan Thompson and Kylie Jenner bestie Jordyn Woods continues to unfold, the man at the center of it has been largely mum — save for a since-deleted apparent social media denial ("fake news") right off the bat, and some questionable Instagram likes since. And then, on February 27, he appeared in New York, checking into his hotel with Cleveland Cavaliers teammates. 

There, TMZ didn't get him to say anything on the matter. However, a short time later, Thompson showed up on Instagram Stories to apparently send a message to followers — through a round of red wine. (And hey, it wouldn't be the first time that Thompson sent a not-so-coded message through food.) In the brief clip, Thompson appears with a glass of red wine, seated around a restaurant table with friends.

He clinks glasses with the crew, and they share wishes of "salud" and "cheers." Eventually, he downs his glass.

But what else is that they're saying? It sure sounds like, "We know." As in, yes, we know the whole world has a lot of questions for this dude right here. But for now, we're just having a bite to eat and washing it down with a bottle of red wine at a white-clothed table, like a bunch of ordinary guys out on the town. Nothing to see here, folks.

Earlier in the week, Thompson appeared smiling over a spread at another table, too: He dined on a soul food menu from Pearl Flower Catering with his teammates as part of a Black History Month luncheon.
