Anthony Bourdain Fantasized About Harvey Weinstein's Death in One of His Last Published Interviews

The late chef, author, and TV host also had scathing criticism for Bill and Hillary Clinton.

In one of the final interviews published after his death, Anthony Bourdain fantasized in vivid detail about how fallen film executive Harvey Weinstein might die. He called it a "theory."

“My theory of how he goes is uh, he’s brushing his teeth in a bathroom, he’s naked in his famous bathrobe, which is flapping open, he’s holding his cell phone in one hand because you never know who on the Weinstein board has betrayed him recently, and he’s brushing his teeth,” Bourdain told Popula. “He suddenly gets a massive f---ing stroke — he stumbles backwards into the bathtub, where he finds himself um, with his robe open feet sticking out of the tub, and in his last moments of consciousness as he scrolls through his contacts list trying to figure out who he can call, who will actually answer the phone. And he dies that way, knowing that no one will help him and that he is not looking his finest at time of death."

He had harsh words for Bill and Hillary Clinton as well, describing the former president as, "Entitled, rapey, gropey, grabby, disgusting," and noting, “It was the shaming, discrediting, undermining the women [who accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct] that made both of them unsuitable for any future endeavors."

Weinstein currently faces three charges of sex crimes that are being tried in New York as well as around 90 other accounts of sexual harassment. Bourdain's girlfriend Asia Argento was one of the victims to come forward to accuse Weinstein of rape.
