Boston Red Sox Tip $195,000 (!!!) on World Series Celebration Drinks Tab

The Red Sox won the World Series — and splashed out a cool half mil at the club to celebrate.

The Boston Red Sox earned a ninth World Series win in 2018 — so last weekend it was time to turn up. But you may be shocked to know just how much money the team reportedly spent on celebration drinks: a cool half million!

Don't worry, that staggering figure includes tip — and quite the tip it was. According to TMZ, reps for the team left $195,000 as a gratuity on a bill that came to around $300,000.

The publication claims to have seen the actual receipt for the post-win shindig on Sunday at Nightingale Plaza in Los Angeles and verifies that it's genuine. Eat your heart out, Jay-Z.

But what do you actually get for that much dough?

That night, they apparently ordered 169 bottles of Champagne (including Dom Perignon, Ace of Spades, Mote, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal and Perrier-Jouer), 28 bottles of whiskey (Jack Daniels and Jameson), plus an unspecified amount of Don Julio tequila and Belveder vodka.

No word on whether the team has sobered up yet...
