Even Camilla’s 71st Birthday Cake Knows to Bow Down to the Duchess of Cornwall
The royal's special cake followed the rules down to the letter.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall celebrated her 71st birthday with her husband Prince Charles and it was a rather formal affair all the way down to her birthday cake. She received a carrot cake decorated with buttercream flowers that read "Happy Birthday Ma'am," which is the proper salutation for a royal.
The official Twitter account for Clarence House, where she and Prince Charles reside, noted that the couple opened a new quayside in the Isles of Scilly in England and then took a tour of a new harborside restaurant called On the Quay, where she was presented with the special cake. According to PEOPLE, they are in the area to promote environmental and sustainability issues and regional tourism.
It may not be as fancy as the recent royal wedding cake, but we bet it's every bit as delicious!
