Jameela Jamil Furious After Pregnant Amber Rose Posts Flat-Tummy Tea Ad: “Are We F---ing Kidding?”
The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil continues her crusade against so-called "flat-tummy teas," which are not FDA-approved.
Jameela Jamil has long made it her mission to speak out about the dangers of so-called "flat-tummy teas" and "detox teas" — targeting by name the celebrities who promote them on Instagram. The Good Place has famously responded after Kim and Khloe Kardashian (along with other celebs) have promoted the products to Instagram in paid posts — calling the ads "irresponsible" and the stars promoting them "sad." So it should come as no surprise that she's back at it... but this time, the target of her outspoken response is actually pregnant.
Indeed, Amber Rose, who is expecting her second child with boyfriend Alexander Edwards, used her social media platform to do a paid partnership with Flat Tummy Tea.
And among those calling out Rose — who has been known as a body-positive feminist — was Jameel, who asked on social media, "Is this FDA approved?" And even more pointedly, she exclaimed, "Are we... f---ing... kidding?"
In the caption, she wrote simply: "NO, AMBER ROSE. NO."
By the way, Jamil's approach is working: She's calling more attention than the actual Food and Drug Administration to the harms of the non-FDA-approved products, according to a Harvard scientist.
