It's never easy for Porsha Williams to relive The Real Housewives of Atlanta drama by watching it back on TV. But this season has proven to be especially difficult as Porsha experiences the struggles in her relationship with fiancé Dennis McKinley all over again.
Porsha admitted that this season of RHOA has been "hard for me to watch" and "frustrating" during the Peach Tea Sip and See panel at BravoCon on Saturday, November 16. "I would also say it's two part because right now I'm frustrated watching it because I'm watching it with my fiancé, and we were having such a hard time," she shared.
There's major tension between the RHOA couple this season as they deal with the fallout of Dennis cheating on Porsha while she was pregnant with their first child, Pilar Jhena. When Dennis' name came up during the BravoCon panel, some members of the audience started booing the RHOA fiancé.
Moderator Sylvia Obell from BuzzFeed explained to Porsha that the reaction from fans is the result of them just being "protective" over her. And Porsha took it in stride. "So that's all I'll say," she said to the crowd. "I don't want to make him get booed."
Porsha confirmed during interviews with ET and Us Weekly prior to the premiere of Season 12 of RHOA that she and Dennis were still engaged. Though they have not yet set a date for the wedding, they are "thinking about" having another child, and there's a "strong possibility" that it could happen sooner rather than later.
“We’re happy and we’re raising our daughter together,” Porsha told Us Weekly. “It’s been a long road, one we’re still on. We’re going day by day rebuilding our relationship and making sure our foundation is where we want it to be to have a strong family.”
We'll see Porsha work toward rebuilding her relationship with Dennis this season of RHOA. Watch a preview of an all-new episode Sunday at 8/7c, below.
