Though there can be tremendous pressure on new moms to breastfeed their babies, it just doesn't work out for everyone. Luckily, some moms with public platforms are opening up about the difficulties of breastfeeding to show other women who are struggling to nurse that they're not alone — or doing anything wrong.

Khloe Kardashian stopped breastfeeding True after three months because it was the best thing for her and her child. Cameran Eubanks switched Palmer from breast milk to formula after a few months as well, and went public with her decision "in hopes it will make other mothers feel less alone." And now, Porsha Williams is coming clean about her own reason for not breastfeeding her newborn, Pilar Jhena McKinley

Chatting with Hollywood Life, the new mom said, "I’m not breastfeeding. It didn’t work out for me. I really did try, but I just wasn’t producing enough milk so it just didn’t work out for me." And that's that!

It sounds like Porsha isn't putting too much pressure on herself to do anything one particular way as she gets the hang of this parenthood thing, and that includes how she recovers after her delivery.

Porsha ultimately gave birth via C-section, and it takes time to recover from that. "A lot of people think that C-sections are easy — an easier way to give birth. But I assure you, it is full, serious surgery. It was difficult!" The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom told PEOPLE

"Even recovery — healing from the cut and taking care of a newborn while being on pain medication and dealing with your body’s shock of having just had a baby,” Porsha explained. “I’m doing pretty good now, but it was just a lot.”

As she recovers, Porsha is taking it easy on herself. "I’ve done the opposite of what people do when they get shamed online. They hide because you shame them,” she shared. “I actually post pictures with fitting clothes, still showing my postpartum body. I’m proud of it. I’m going to bounce back naturally, and I’m not going to stress myself."
