Cynthia's Secrets
No. 1: "I can't live without my facial moisturizers. I use a light daytime moisturizer in the morning and a heavier nighttime one at night. I actually overly moisturize, because I like my skin to feel extra soft and hydrated."
Cynthia's Secrets
No. 2: "When I am flying around the world on business or for pleasure, I only use my nighttime moisturizer, because it's heavier. As a frequent flyer, I notice that my skin gets very dry and dehydrated when I am in the air."
Cynthia's Secrets
No. 4: "Drink lots of water, especially when you are flying. I am more of a juice girl than a water girl, so I always have bottles of flavored water enhancers in my purse."
Cynthia's Secrets
No. 9: "For fresh breath and a pretty white smile, I brush my teeth (and tongue) with baking soda before using my regular toothpaste."
Cynthia's Secrets
No. 10: "I read and post inspirational quotes every day on my social media. When I put positive energy out to the universe, it always comes back to me."
Yolanda's Secrets
No. 2: I start my day with a glass of warm water and a splash of lemon. It alkalizes your system and wakes up the brain of your body -- your gut.
Yolanda's Secrets
No. 3: A few drops of fresh lemon mixed with water can be a refreshing clarifier for your face. Lemons fight bacteria and can reduce the size of pores, leaving your skin clean and brightened. I feel beautiful skin comes from the inside out. It all starts with lots of water and nutritious foods. It's not even a specific diet but more a lifestyle choice.
Yolanda's Secrets
No. 4: You can buy the most expensive creams, fillers, and face-lifts, but if you are not happy and you don't commit to a healthy lifestyle, this does nothing. My grandma died at the age of 85 with the most beautiful skin I have ever seen. All she ever used was water, soap, and old fashioned lotion, which always reminds me that I can find what my skin needs at a grocery store.
Yolanda's Secrets
No. 5: I take 10 minutes every day to reflect on what I am grateful for, but also what adjustments I can make to continue to strive to be the best and healthiest version of me -- physically and emotionally. I know that the happiness of my life depends on the quality of my thoughts.
Yolanda's Secrets
No. 6: If you feel you are in an exercise "rut," get out! Get outdoors and get moving. New scenery can inspire you to get active in new ways.
Yolanda's Secrets
No. 7: Don't get stuck in any routine, whether it's skincare, diet, exercise, romance etc. Change is sometimes scary, but always invigorating. Recently, I took a chance and cut my hair short, and I am not going to lie, it took me a couple of weeks to own it. But I love it today, and I really feel it helped me get some sassy back.
Yolanda's Secrets
No. 9: Remember girls, "Comparison is the thief of joy," so accept your flaws, because we all have them. Be authentic and know that no beauty shines brighter than that of a good heart.
Melissa's Secrets
No. 1: "Great skin is everything! You can buy all the newest makeup colors and products, but if the skin underneath is not in good condition, nothing will work."
Melissa's Secrets
No. 2: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! I can't stress enough how moisturizing is sooo important! You need to find the right product that works for your skin, and the under eye cream is the most important of all. No one looks good with dark circles or puffy eyes, so even if you're going to skip everything else, do not skip the eye cream.
Melissa's Secrets
No. 3: I like to change things up every 6 months or so. Whatever products you're using to wash your face or moisturize, you should try something new in six months. I feel like your skin gets too used to the product and it stops working -- you need to give it a break and then come back to it in a couple months!
Melissa's Secrets
No. 4: Always have that white, beautiful smile! Take care of those pearly whites! Hey I'm Italian, and I love to drink my red wine, so it's important that I constantly use the right toothpaste with whitening product in it. A beautiful smile lights up the room!
Melissa's Secrets
No. 5: Take care of that gorgeous hair! Once a week I put in a special moisturizing conditioner that sits on my hair for an hour or so. If you're able to go to the salon and have a gloss or a shine treatment every couple of weeks, then do it. Nothing looks better than healthy, shiny hair! Being a girl is so empowering, so embrace it!
