Kenya: Porsha Blames Everyone Else for Her Behavior
Kenya Moore talks all things friendship, from her bond with Cynthia Bailey to the fallout between NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams.
BravoTV.com: Were you happy that Cynthia had your back after the confrontation with Kim?
Kenya Moore: Loyalty is everything. I'm so blessed to have a true friend in Cynthia. While others were so busy looking the other way while Kim hurled insults at me all night calling me fat, ugly, dumb, among other slights, I remained silent trying to take the high road. The other women pretended not being able to recall what nasty things Kim said to attack me and my family, but Cynthia never hesitated to speak up in my defense simply by telling the truth. As you saw, Kim tried to lie about why she faked being upset, and then Shereé repeated those lies. Thank God the cameras were rolling so the fans could witness the truth.
BravoTV.com: How difficult was it to deal with your grandmother's passing?
My grandmother is the only mother I've ever known. She was also the kindest, most loving, caring, and giving person I've ever known. Everything that is good and pure in me is from her. I'm not really ready to talk about it — it was just a few months ago, and a day doesn't go by without me being heartbroken.
BravoTV.com: Why did you bring your dogs on the trip?
My dogs are emotional support animals. I had just lost the love of my life, so I needed them with me.
BravoTV.com: What went through your mind during NeNe and Porsha's confrontation?
I don't get why it's so hard to be a good friend. It's so easy for Porsha to blame everyone else for her behavior and the reasons why she has no friends. I'm hoping she takes a hard look at her character and the behavior that has caused her to alienate people like NeNe, Kandi, Shamea, and Jamie who have always had her back. I really pray that she can do that, because true friends are hard to come by, especially later in life.
