Cynthia's Perfect Wedding
Cynthia thanks Peter and all the ladies for the beautiful vow renewal surprise.
Let me just say this first: thank you to my husband, Peter Thomas, for giving me the most romantic wedding any woman could ever want or dream of. It was simple, exquisite, thoughtful, and classy. I loved every single detail, and it is obvious to me that you spent a lot of time making sure it was perfect. It was perfect, and less is definitely more! I love you so much! We did get the wedding we always wanted. I was so moved by your tears, and I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. That day will forever be in my heart!
Also I want to thank Peter's partner in crime and our longtime friend, Marvet Britto, again for being there every step of the way. Peter shared with me that you set everything up for the wedding, and that lighting the lanterns was your idea. That was the icing on the cake, and one of my favorite parts of the ceremony! Thank you so much for conspiring with Peter to help make this trip incredible! You went above and beyond, and I truly appreciate you! OK, I am not big on surprises. There is no way you can be a fan of the show and not know this by now. I only say it every other week. LOL! However, I have to say that my surprise wedding vow renewal ceremony was definitely an exception to the rule! I was absolutely blown away by the ceremony at Sandy Island. Honestly, I have now watched it at least 100 times, and I still tear up every single time. It was breathtaking, and even more beautiful in person. I still can't figure out how Peter's sneaky butt managed to pull this off without me finding out, because we were constantly together on the trip. Even the rest of the ladies (their boos included), managed not to let the cat of the bag. No small feat for a group of 12 people, who are not exactly shy in the "talking department"! Not to mention the endless flow of cocktails we had at our beck and call. Well, they are better than me, because I can't hold water!
Seriously, thank you guys for being a part of this special occasion with me and Peter. I thought everyone looked amazing, and you could really feel the love in the air amongst us all. Your kindness, warm wishes, love, and support was well received, and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. However, I am still going to pay all y'all back for not telling me what was going on! Especially NeNe! Girl, you know you could have given your sista a heads up. I would have at least run over to your room to get my nails done together. You guys got me good! I really fell for the prime minister "white party thing" to the point that I'm still a little disappointed (and pissed) that I never actually got to meet the man! Tune in next week to RHOA at 9/8c on Bravo. I appreciate and love you guys!
