Cynthia Bailey Is "Still Trying to Figure Out" Her New Short, Natural Hairstyle
The Real Housewives of Atlanta beauty is taking a break from weaves and wigs and is getting used to styling her dramatically different haircut.
Cynthia Bailey was ready to make a major change in the hair department. The Real Housewives of Atlanta beauty made the bold decision to say sayonara to wigs and weaves in order to rock her natural hair in a dramatically shorter 'do. Though she initially just "went in for a wash, deep conditioning & trim" on February 20, the legendary model ended up with a stunning switch-up with a short, layered bob and bangs.
Now, Cynthia confesses that she's still processing her "just cut it all off moment" as she braves styling her hair solo. On February 23, Cynthia shared a quick video and pics on Instagram expressing her totally understandable concerns as she gets used to a different hair styling routine.
"Ok, so i did my own hair & makeup this morning," she explained in her caption. "Still trying to get used to styling my short natural hair. How did I do?" She adds a few more details in her video saying, "Still trying to figure out my hair. I did my own hair and makeup today and I'm like 'oh my god.' It's a lot. Still getting used to it."
Honestly, we completely understand how jarring it might be to go from fierce protective styles to a more low-key, yet also dramatically different hair look. But remember, Cynthia can pull off any and every hair (including blonde bobs with blunt bangs) look she tries — so we predict that this is just the beginning of a parade of show-stopping short styles to come.
