Eva Marcille's Traditional Bantu Knot Hairstyle Is a Work of Art
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum added a unique spin on the cultural natural hairstyle.
Eva Marcille loves to get creative with her hairstyles. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has tried and slayed everything from a platinum pixie cut to an edgy undercut, and she continues to set the bar for next-level hairstyles. Eva recently switched up her look once again with a fresh new style that is truly a masterpiece.
On August 29, Eva debuted her new look on Instagram with several close-up snaps. The ATL mama ditched her colorful waist-length blonde braids for a shorter natural hairstyle. Eva tapped celebrity hairstylist Aria Dixon for a unique take on bantu knots (a traditional African hairstyle). Eva's beautifully styled bantu knots were divided into perfect symmetry with small, precise stitch braids. For added flair, Dixon topped her 'do with gold hoops.
"When another creative/lover of all things cultural sits in your chair," Dixon captioned a video of Eva flaunting her new 'do. "NOTHING BUT BLACK GIRL MAGIC," she added. "My boo @evamarcille has done it again. I love when it’s time to do her hair she gets my creative juices going."
