Eva Marcille & Kenya Moore Are "Phenomenally Black" in a Powerful Statement Tee
The Real Housewives of Atlanta beauties are fighting racism in phenomenal fashion.
The ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta are coming together and using their social platforms to unite under one cause: the fight against racial injustice. And though the ladies are working on a joint effort, according to Porsha Williams, two RHOA beauties are also taking a stand using an unexpected resource — fashion.
On June 12, Eva Marcille shared a glowing pic on Instagram as she donned a simple, black t-shirt that read "Phenomenally Black" in powerful, white letters. "Millions of protesters across the country are speaking out against anti-black racism and police violence," Eva explained in her caption. "But we still have a lot of work to do, and we can't let up. So keep going. Continue fighting for our Phenomenally Black community until there's full accountability. All proceeds from this @phenomenal tee benefit @blackfutureslab, which is working to build Black political power. ✊?"
The Phenomenally Black T-Shirt retails for $35 and was created by the Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign, a brand whose Maya Angelou-inspired name brings awareness to social issues. Each tee benefits Black Futures Lab that, according to their site, "works with Black people to build Black political power."
Eva isn't the only Housewife to have the stunning statement shirt. Kenya Moore rocked her tee to celebrate Juneteenth on June 19 saying, "Thank you @evamarcille for an amazing day celebrating... [Brooklyn Daly] didn’t want to leave and your family and friends are just as woke as you are."
Now that's style with a message!
