Eva Marcille's Son Maverick Had the Most Adorable 1st Birthday Bash (PICS)
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum decorated her Atlanta home for her youngest son's special day.
When Eva Marcille gave BravoTV.com a tour of her youngest son's nursery, she knelt before a height marker decked with cartoon animals. "The thing I'm most excited about in this room is this," she says in the clip above. "I can't wait to start marking it up, and watching him grow."
Maverick is growing up quickly, indeed. Eva's baby recently celebrated his first birthday. In the past year, Maverick has morphed from this teeny, sweater-clad infant to a young man who's big enough to eat his own birthday cake. And of course, his proud mama has pictures to prove it. (She probably has a few height markings, too.)
In an Instagram post from Maverick's big day, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum wrote: "It’s a Birthday Boy!!! Happy first birthday to my beautiful beautiful Maverick." Eva strove to make the day happy indeed, hosting a festive bash at her Atlanta home. There were blue and gold balloons and snacks laid out buffet-style; there was also a cake with royal-blue frosting.
And of course, Maverick got a good taste of that icing. One of Eva's snaps captured of the birthday boy seated happily in his high chair, with a telling blue smear on his chin.
As a bonus, Maverick's birthday serenade was helped along by a professional singer. Kandi Burruss, who attended the bash with her own kids, gamely joined in on the birthday song.
