Shereé Whitfield's Son Kairo Reacts to How Long it Took to Finish Chateau Shereé
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum's son weighed in on the lengthy process of building the luxe abode.
After Shereé Whitfield spent years building her home, Chateau Shereé, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum's son, Kairo Whitfield, feels the finished house was worth the wait.
On the May 9 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the host asked, "Kairo, can you defend your mom for taking so long to finish Chateau Shereé?" to which Kairo replied, "Yeah. She put a lot of detail into [the house], so I guess I can."
When Shereé unveiled the home in the video above, she opened up about putting her personal touch on every inch of the house. “I love detail,” she said at the time. “Everything is hand-picked by me.” As seen in the video, just some of those details include marble countertops, unique sconces, and wall treatments made of bark. Last year, Shereé also gave her Instagram followers a new look inside the home's sauna. "Getting in the sauna is something I [love] doing... and is a part of my regimen," she wrote in part. "[It's] good for cleansing the skin, circulation, relieving stress, flushing toxins and aids in recovery from an intense workout."
Despite past drama between Shereé and Kenya Moore over their luxe homes, Kenya had some very kind things to say about Shereé's abode during an episode of WWHL earlier this year. When Shereé asked Kenya to "Name three design choices I made in my home that are better than what you made in your home," Kenya replied, "I love [Shereé's] kitchen backsplash...It's just so glamorous."
"I like her baseboards, because they're very tall," she added. "I like her chandelier, because I copied it and I got one of my own."
