Kandi Burruss' Incredible Mother's Day Flower Delivery Took an Unexpected Turn
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member's floral arrangement left a lasting impression, but not in the way she expected.
Kandi Burruss' Mother's Day flower delivery from Todd Tucker left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, not just because of the stunning appearance of the pink Venus ET Fleur arrangement.
On May 12, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member took to Instagram to share her frustrations over her newly damaged table. "See this? You know those flowers [that] last for a year? My husband bought me a whole bunch of boxes of them that said, 'We love you, Mom,'" Kandi said as she showed pink markings all over her wood table. "Whatever chemical they use for the flowers it, like, melted through ... the seal of the wood."
Later, Kandi shared a photo of the floral display before the damage was done. "That's how the flowers were sitting on the table," she captioned a photo of seven boxes of flowers, each featuring a character spelling out, "We [heart] U Mom" with a combination of light and dark pink roses. "Little did we know the chemical from the flowers were melting the sealant on the table."
Clearly, Kandi was not pleased. "I was smiling earlier today," she captioned a series of photos of herself. "Then I saw that my table was f*cked up...Now I'm just pouting."
Despite the flower mishap, Kandi had many reasons to smile that day, including a very luxe gift from her daughter, Riley: Chanel sneakers. Riley shared a sweet video to Instagram as she presented her mom with the white high tops with neon yellow laces, Dayglo orange and pink trim, and bright blue bottoms. She captioned the touching moment of Kandi beaming as she opened the present: "Happy mother's day."
