Kandi & Todd Had the Most Special Anniversary "Party" in Self-Isolation
Todd explained The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple had a very limited guest list: "No disrespect. We're just quarantining."
Even while homebound due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker managed to celebrate their anniversary with a memorable fete.
"We're hours away from our six-year anniversary, what better way to spend it than together at home appreciating how blessed we are?" The Real Housewives of Atlanta husband said in an Instagram video. "Tomorrow we're having a pool party barbecue six-year anniversary gathering with our family who live here. Nobody else is invited. No disrespect, we're just quarantining."
In the background, Kandi was hard at work baking sweet treats for her love. "She's making me a lemon cake and her famous pound cake," Todd explained. "Which is amazing."
While Kandi made dessert the night before their backyard party, it seems Todd took over cooking for the big day. "That boy be grilling! 6yrs anniversary cook out!" he wrote alongside a separate Instagram post of himself standing over a grill. "Grill king!!!
The entrepreneur has been getting good use out of his backyard grill while homebound. In recent Instagram posts, Todd and Kandi shared photos from a day in which 4-year-old Ace helped his dad whip up some food. "My baby boy [Ace] was helping his dad grill today!" Kandi proudly declared, while Todd added in his own post: "[Ace] is about that grill life. Did he just call a Hotdog a cheeseburger? Lol! grill Gang!"
It seems Todd is also using his time at home to come up with speciality drink recipes as well. "Just made a TODD’s Margarita!" he captioned an Instagram video of himself tasting a cocktail on March 31. "I’m coming out with a Tequila and I want to name it TODD’s TEQUILA!"
