Kenya Moore Reveals Why She Decided to Finally Build a Pool at Moore Manor
A new chapter in the RHOA cast member's personal life led to a major home update.
After sharing in August that she was adding an in-ground pool to her incredible home, Kenya Moore is opening up about how a change in her relationship with Marc Daly guided the decision.
"Who knows what the future holds, I'm just making choices for myself and not considering how it's going to make Marc feel," she said on The Real Housewives of Atlanta's December 6 episode. "Marc never wanted a pool and I thought, 'Oh, You don't live here anymore so I'm building a pool because it's what I wanted."
While the backyard renovation appeared to be far from complete during the episode, Kenya pointed out different areas of the in-progress space, noting what would eventually become the jacuzzi, pool, pool house, and a play area for her daughter, Brooklyn.
Although we have yet to see the finished backyard, Kenya revealed last month that the pool was "just days away" from completion.
Kenya is making other exciting updates inside the home as well. In a December 6 Instagram snap, she showed a stunning seasonal addition to Brooklyn's bedroom: a vibrant Christmas tree beneath a matching pink chandelier. She captioned the photo: "The before of [Brooklyn's] own hot pink [Christmas] tree."
