Kenya Moore Defends Her Auctioneer Dress at the MommiNation Event: "I Looked Damn Good"
The RHOA mom had something to say after her castmates expressed mixed feelings on her head-turning dress for the fundraiser.
On Season 15 Episode 9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore was the auctioneer at Sanya Richards-Ross' MommiNation event. The fundraiser included several buzz-worthy moments, such as a surprise appearance by Kairo Whitfield, a whopping $78,000 raised, and, as discussed in the video above, Kenya's jaw-dropping look for the day.
In The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 15 After Show episode, Kandi Burruss and Drew Sidora discuss Kenya's skills as an auctioneer, and Drew notes that Kenya's dress "got the attention" of the attendees.
"It was like all eyes on Kenya," she adds. "Like, you're gonna pay attention to what she's saying because it was so standout."
Sanya echoes the same feeling in the clip, explaining, "When [Kenya] got there in that little red wrap dress, she delivered."
The dress, which appears to be AKNVAS' Olive dress, features waist and back cutouts, cascading ruffle detail, and an asymmetrical hem. Kenya completed her head-turning ensemble with black leather gloves, black thigh-high boots, and sparkly drop earrings.

Although Kenya's castmates had mixed feelings about her choice of attire, she stands by it. "Please don't try to act like my dress was not hitting because it was, OK?" she says in the clip. "I looked damn good, and I felt good. That's all that matters."
In an Instagram post on July 10, one day after the RHOA episode aired, Kenya shared another look at the show-stopping outfit and declared in the caption, "I loved my dress." Kandi agreed, writing in a comment," Your dress was [fire.]"

The red dress for the event isn't the only ensemble that Kenya is excitedly talking about these days. As you can see in the video above, she rocked a pink Alex Perry dress with matching gloves for the After Show.
“I like the color, I like fitted, I like classic beauty," Kenya explained in a separate sneak peek of the After Show, which you can watch via the playlist above. With a laugh, she added about herself, "She’s tight and right!”
