See Every Dazzling Detail of the $10K Tea Party Kenya Hosted for Brooklyn's 3rd Birthday
While planning her daughter’s lavish birthday bash with a budget of $10K to $15K, the RHOA cast member declared, “She will never forget it.”
From a Barbie-themed bash to a farm-style fete, Kenya Moore pulls out all the stops to celebrate her daughter, Brooklyn. As seen on the May 15 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the little one’s third birthday may have been her most lavish party to date.
“I am going all out for her birthday party,” Kenya declared during the episode. “She will never forget it.”
After setting a budget between $10,000 and $15,000, Kenya worked with her event planner, Monet, to create the dreamiest tea party for her daughter. “Brooklyn loves to play tea party with me,” Kenya explained in an interview. “So I thought it was perfect for her third birthday party theme.”
When the event came to life, the room was filled with pink, purple, yellow, and white flowers that perfectly matched the gorgeous tablescapes and balloon installations. A faux greenery wall featuring Brooklyn’s name served as the perfect photo backdrop, and adorable pictures of the guest of honor were displayed all around the space.
Guests were treated to a variety of food, including salad, charcuterie, crumpets, steak, lobster, and an impressive array of desserts. Of course, there was plenty of tea for everyone to enjoy, and for the adults, three signature cocktails: the Brooklyn-tini with Tito’s, What’s the Tea (a champagne cocktail), and Rosé the Brooklyn Way.
Brooklyn’s pink birthday cake had two tiers and flowers cascading down the side. In keeping with the theme, the confection was topped with a teacup and a bright sparkler.
Although the day was filled with some notable drama, Kenya was ultimately thrilled with how the event turned out. “Brooklyn’s birthday party was a success because she had a good time,” Kenya said. “She laughed, she was in her element.”
