Marlo Hampton knows how to make a statement when it comes to fashion, and her love of color and patterns has seeped into her Atlanta townhouse. The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend received her abode more than 10 years ago as a birthday gift — yes, you read that right, her home was a gift!—from her former boyfriend, a still-unnamed billionaire.

Since receiving the world’s fanciest gift ever, Marlo has spent the past 10 years decorating the space in an aesthetic that is so her. Awash in bold wallpapers and ultra-fashionable furnishings (have you seen her kitchen island stools?!), the home is yet another place where Marlo channels her stylish creative energy. In her living room alone, Marlo has pink velvet chairs, an extra-long black velvet couch, black-and-floral wallpaper, and a glass coffee table.

Also accenting the living room and the rest of Marlo’s main floor are some ultra-modern curtains. In a video shared to her Instagram, Marlo showed her nephew hilariously trying to carry her huge luggage up the stairs… but all we could notice were those bold curtains. Cream hued to match her walls, the curtains feature black squares, adding some pattern and whimsy to the staircase. Want to see how she styled the curtains in the living room? Watch the video above!
