Marlo Hampton's Strict RHOA Reunion Prep Includes "3 Cocktails a Day Only"
The RHOA friend loves her mimosas and sweet cocktails.
Marlo Hampton is getting ready for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 reunion, and that means making changes every day in the weeks leading up to the taping. So what exactly is she doing to prepare? The RHOA friend shared her complete plan of action with The Daily Dish podcast when she stopped by to record an episode.
“First of all, I’m getting skinny,” Marlo revealed on the podcast. “I’m going to be the skinniest one on the couch! So, after I cheat today, I’m going to get back to Atlanta and get back on my strict diet.”
Although she’s carefully planning, there’s still one part of her lifestyle that she’s not willing to change too much, and that’s cocktail consumption.
“My strict diet is two shakes a day, one protein bar that’s cut in half, and then you have two meals,” Marlo explained. “And the meals consist of a protein and a green vegetable. And 96 ounces of water and three cocktails only.”
Marlo really stands by her strategy. She said that she’s seen results even though she added in a little bit of alcohol.
“One day, I went to my doctor, and I’m like, ‘Am I an alcoholic?’ She’s like, ‘Why do you say that?’ I said, ‘Because I have, like, a drink every day,’” Marlo continued. “She’s like, ‘So are you drinking liquor straight?’ I’m like, ’No! Like lemon drops.’ It has to be sweet, mimosas.’”
Marlo’s doctor did warn her about the sugar intake, however, which is how she landed on her three cocktails a day rule.
By the way, Marlo’s reunion preparation isn’t all diet-focused. She’s gearing up mentally, as well. “I need to meditate a lot, massages… smile a lot, because it’s going to be a night of fireworks," she said.
