Here's What a 30-Minute Homemade Brunch Looks Like at Marlo Hampton's House
The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal proved to her nephews why they "don't need to go to brunch" at a restaurant.
Whether she's making a casual weekend meal or a full holiday feast, Marlo Hampton always pulls out all the stops in her kitchen. So when her nephews, William and Michael, asked if they could go out for brunch, The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal set out to prove her homemade spread would rival any restaurant's.
"When the boys [say] Auntie can we go to brunch today?....Yes you sure can right [here] at the Hampton's," Marlo captioned an Instagram Story, referencing the name she gave to her house. "Give me 30 mins."
With that, Marlo got to work and prepared "potatoes and onions with spinach and eggs" topped with shrimp. "See? We don't need to go brunch," she said. "We got brunch right in the house."
Earlier this year, Marlo showed what a typical weekday breakfast looks like at her home. "William, thanks for coming to the cafeteria this morning," she joked with her nephew in a January Instagram Story video before giving him "homemade eggs and cheese and bacon, and our veggies."
William and Michael clearly enjoy their aunt's food, but they are also skilled cooks themselves. Marlo has previously raved about Michael's unique take on tuna melts, and in February, she shared a peek inside her "Best Sunday [ever]" as one of the boys served her breakfast in bed. Before digging into the plate of "eggs with cheese and bacon," Marlo declared, "Wow, I'm gonna tear this up."
