During the June 5 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, a lot of controversy surrounded Drew Sidora’s Drop it with Drew weight-loss program. For starters, Kenya Moore said, “It’s giving Ponzi scheme,” while Kandi Burruss admitted she “can’t back it up.” But it was Marlo Hampton’s comment that ruffled Drew’s feathers the most when Marlo said Drop it with Drew “ain’t nothin’ but a Facebook group.”
Drew appeared on WWHL the same night that RHOA episode aired. The entrepreneur acknowledged that when Marlo, Kenya, and Shereé Whitfield tried to access her website, it was down. “I will admit that my link wasn’t working,” she said. But, Drew assured, “It’s working now. So go to Dropitwithdrew.com and sign up. That’s what I’ll say.”
The drama came up again when Marlo appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on June 12. During the fashionista’s visit to the Clubhouse, she addressed her biting comment about Drew’s business. When Andy asked Marlo on behalf of a WWHL fan if she took back what she said now that Drew’s “website is back up and running,” Marlo’s response was, “Yeah, I guess so.”
