Mary J. Blige Has Some Thoughts on Marlo Hampton's Halloween Costume Tribute
The iconic songstress told Andy Cohen how she felt about the RHOA beauty's 2019 Halloween costume.
Back in 2019, Marlo Hampton gifted us with an unforgettable Halloween costume tribute to the one and only Mary J. Blige. The Real Housewives of Atlanta style maven recreated Mary's iconic "No More Drama" album cover complete with cranberry shades and her signature cropped shaggy haircut. And on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the songstress shared her thoughts on Marlo's uncanny costume.
"Let's start with a relic from the very recent Bravo past," teased Andy on WWHL. "Mary, take a look at Marlo Hampton's Halloween costume from 2019." Mary's delight (aka "holleration") was immediately clear as she giggled through her response. "What do you think? How did she do, Mary?" Andy continued.
"I love it," Mary exclaimed. "She nailed it. That's amazing. She nailed it." Nailed it, indeed. Not only did Marlo get the shades and hairdo just right, but she also managed to score a maroon alligator jacket with a sleek bralette and shorts to match — a detail that the original look didn't even boast.
"She really did," Andy concluded. She really did.
