Nene Leakes Is Committing Her Time to Learning a New Skill While Self-Isolating
The Real Housewives of Atlanta fashionista shares all the deets on a new beginners' class she's taking every morning.
Nene Leakes is going back to basics.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen with Lisa Rinna and Jerry O'Connell (each from their respective homes, of course) to share an update on her self-quarantine life. It was there that Nene revealed she's using her spare time to learn some new skills in the beauty space.
When the Swagg Boutique owner isn't tending to home chores like making her bed or joining in on Instagram challenges from her fellow 'Wives, she's learning how to perfect her glam. "A lot of us, like me and Lisa, wear makeup when we’re on camera so I don’t really know how to do my makeup that good," she shares in the clip above. "So I went on YouTube and found a YouTuber that’s teaching beginners how to do makeup. I’m learning how to do makeup every morning. I have a beginner’s class on YouTube."
Nene added, "Girls, like me and Lisa, we want to look fabulous all the time, but we can't get to our hair and makeup people." Thus, resulting in her new beauty adventure.
Since a visit to the nail salon isn't an option for Nene at the moment, the ATL stunner has also been trying her hand at press-on nails. (She isn't the only 'Wife who's been taking care of her nails at home. Earlier this week, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Jennifer Aydin showed off her impressive manicure skills.)
