It seems as though Noelle’s been spending lots of quality time with her mother and soon-to-be stepfather, Mike Hill, at the family’s home while they self-isolated in the early days of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but she explained that her apartment search had been in the works for quite some time.

“Basically, I was actually in the process of getting a place pre-pandemic. I was literally like almost about to sign the lease and then the whole pandemic broke out,” said Noelle. “I was like, you know, I kind of just want to be with family. My mom is here. Everybody was here. And then, I realized the pandemic is kind of not really going anywhere.”

That’s when Noelle decided to find an apartment a bit closer to “all the hot spots” than Mike’s home in Porter Ranch, which she said is typically an hour-long trip from most places she goes.

“It almost feels like where I live is almost like a city. Almost like it’s New York or DC, and I really like that feel. Like, I can walk to any grocery stores I want. I can walk to a Starbucks. I just like being able to like, get out and just walk,” said Noelle.

Noelle describes her new apartment style as “definitely minimalist” with “splashes” of Scandinavian-inspired furniture.

“I’m trying to go exactly with the color scheme of the apartment. ‘Cause it’s like, basically the whole apartment is floor to ceiling windows, which is really nice. And all the cabinets in the kitchen are white, and then like, stainless steel,” she explained. “So I’ve kind of been trying to go along with that color scheme. Like, I’m getting clear, silver, black, beige.”

Noelle also has a practical reason for wanting to keep her space minimally decorated: her YouTube channel.

“I want to keep it spacious, too. Like I want there to be a lot of room, because I do shoot a lot of YouTube videos and I have thousands of ideas and I want to be able to be like, ‘Oh, let’s move this table. Let’s move this couch.’ Like I want to have a moveable apartment, so I don’t want to have too many things there.”
