Porsha Williams Had the Most Incredible Tropical-Themed 40th Birthday Party
The RHOA cast member created a "fantasy tropical oasis" for her birthday bash.
Porsha Williams turned 40 in the most unforgettable way. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member recently went all out to celebrate her milestone birthday, feting the special occasion with a huge bash at West Venue in Atlanta on June 25.
The epic event — which several fellow Housewives and Bravolebs attended — was themed after Porsha’s dream tropical vacation, as she recently explained to PEOPLE magazine.
“After taking inspiration from my love of travel, [Lemiga Events party planner] Michelle Gainey designed 'P Island' to transport my guests to a fantasy tropical oasis full of lush details and lively entertainment," she said.
To make “P Island” come to life, the space featured an Insta-worthy floral wall, a massive dance floor, 15-foot tropical floral pieces, and sequin-covered cocktail tables. According to PEOPLE, guests walked through a tunnel covered in greenery to enter the party area, where Junkanoo dancers greeted them.
Porsha also revealed that her fiancé, Simon Guobadia, played a huge role in putting the party together. “"He did a wonderful job and paid so much attention to detail," she told PEOPLE. "It was an amazing night and one I will always remember. Truly special!"
