Shereé Whitfield Opens Up About Getting Her Breast Implants Replaced
The Real Housewives of Atlanta beauty explained why she visited her doctor for a “second time” for a cosmetic adjustment.
In the The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show video above, Shereé Whitfield gathers with Sanya Richards-Ross and Marlo Hampton, and the ladies touch on their fabulous styles for the occasion.
“So what are you giving, Shereé? You giving us all that body?!” Sanya quips as she and Marlo take note of the fashion designer’s long-sleeved lime green dress (a sheath we also saw on Kenya Moore on Season 15 Episode 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which aired on July 30).
“I wanna touch your boobies!” Marlo hilariously exclaims, pointing out Shereé’s noticeable chest area. While Shereé mentions during the After Show that she recently got “a little adjustment” to her breasts, she doesn’t elaborate on the specifics.
However, during Season 15 Episode 13 of RHOA, which aired on August 6, the SHE by Shereé founder let us in on the details of the cosmetic procedure.

In the episode, Shereé met up with Kandi Burruss in the songwriter’s office/studio space for a chat. Getting down to brass tacks right away, Kandi inquired about Shereé’s breasts.
“So how are the new boobs?” Kandi asked Shereé. “You like ’em?”
“They still… you know, they take time, they gotta drop,” Shereé began. “They’re still a little sensitive.”
In a confessional, Shereé further explained the details of her procedure, revealing with a laugh that she went to “Kandi and Kenya’s doctor.” Then, in a flashback, we saw Shereé explaining to Sanya during an event why she had to get “new boobs.”
“I literally just had a procedure two days ago,” she explained in the clip. “My implant had capsulated… meaning they were hard, very hard. So they needed to remove them and replace them.”
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ website, a “capsular contracture” occurs when the scar tissue that naturally forms around an implant becomes “unusually hard and starts to contract around the implant,” which can lead to aesthetic issues and “pain in the breasts” in “extreme cases.”
“He did my boobs, and the first time he did them, I wasn’t so happy about them,” Shereé went on to explain in a confessional. “But the second time… I like ’em!”
Shereé added with a cheeky smile that her boyfriend, Martell Holt, “likes ’em too.”
