Cynthia Bailey Is Opening a Wine Bar in 2019 — Here's Everything We Know (UPDATED)
The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur has an intoxicating new venture in the works.
UPDATE (DECEMBER 20, 8:47 P.M. ET): Cynthia Bailey's new wine bar has been named among the tenants of The Beacon, a redevelopment project in Atlanta’s Grant Park neighborhood. Cynthia's project goes by the name "Bailey Room Wine Cellar" — as she had already teased — according to Curbed Atlanta. Curbed reports that some tenants in the Beacon have already opened at this stage; other neighboring tenants are scheduled to open in early 2019, and in addition to the wine bar, they include a West African fashion boutique, an art gallery, a Jamaican fusion restaurant, and others.
All told, the $30 million Beacon development covers nine acres and 110,000 square feet, located about a mile south of Zoo Atlanta, with 600 feet of frontage along the Atlanta BeltLine’s forthcoming Southside Trail.

Between coaching models, making candles, and selling fashion-forward bags, Cynthia Bailey juggles many business ventures. But, she's always willing to add one more to her plate — especially, it would seem, if it involves wine.
On July 18, The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur took to Instagram with a tipsy teaser. "Some things just get better with age," she wrote, adding a wine-glass emoji. And then, another teaser dropped: "coming soon," she wrote via hashtag, then added "The Bailey Wine Cellar." And in her hand, Cynthia held architectural plans emblazoned with those very words — The Bailey Wine Cellar — printed on it.
Cheers to Cynthia's upcoming venture! We can't wait till she uncorks more details.
