Cynthia Bailey Maintains a Model Body With a Diet Philosophy That Models Might Find Shocking

Here's what a day of meals looks like in her world.

Cynthia Bailey maintains her model physique by employing an overall attitude towards eating that might feel unheard of to some within the fashion industry: giving in to her food cravings (within reason).

“I don’t deprive myself of anything that I have a craving for because I won’t stop thinking about it until I eat it already, and move on,” she told People.

A typical day of eating for Cynthia stays under 1,800 calories. She starts with a scrambled egg, two slices of turkey bacon, honey wheat toast with strawberry jam, and green tea with coconut oil and honey.

Lunch might consist of tuna salad with golden raisins and water crackers, she'll snack on veggies and nuts during the day and might return to seafood at dinner with salmon teriyaki, followed by some chocolate covered raspberry cookies. She revealed that she's conscious of not adding extra salt to anything, but she finds that a crack of black pepper enlivens a lot of her savory dishes.

“Kudos to Cynthia for enjoying small indulgences versus trying to fight her cravings,” dietitian Marisa Moore told People. “Being able to eat intuitively honors her body and helps establish a healthy relationship with food.”
