Porsha Williams is working hard to clean up her diet, but the process hasn’t been a cakewalk. The Real Housewives of Atlanta mama recently took to Instagram to see if she could get a little commiseration from her followers: It’s tough out there for people trying to quit soda, is she right?
In the post, the podcast host broached this question: “Hey, y’all, are sugar withdrawals a real thing?? I stopped soda and now I feel sick!” As it turns out, the subject is up for debate.
While it’s questionable if people can actually experience withdrawal after kicking sugar to the curb, symptoms such as intense cravings and irritability have been known to occur. And what can we say? Sometimes a lady just really, really wants a soda. Hang in there, Porsha!
And take heart, Porsha. Maybe at least soda withdrawals are better than the Keto flu?
