Eden Sassoon Didn't Open A Salon For The Reason You Think
See what put the business owner on her current path.
Eden Sassoon, who appears on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, recently confessed something to The Lookbook. When she was growing up, she resisted anything and everything having to do with hair. After all, as the daughter of the iconic stylist Vidal Sassoon, her world was already filled to the brim with talk of shears and shampoos.
But, as she got older, Eden began to appreciate the art of what her father did; she also developed an appreciation for how he tirelessly gave back to people. Now, Eden has her own West Hollywood salon, Eden by Eden Sassoon. She also runs two Pilates studios.
"When I decided before dad passed to open the salon, it wasn't just because I wanted to open a salon, because I had grown up in [one]," she recalled. "It was more [about] knowing that I could make an impact and change these women's lives. I was thinking, what could I do different in the salon world and get my feet in the industry not just as dad's daughter, but as Eden?"
Eden puts her heart into making women feel good inside (cue the Pilates) and out. And that goes for her employees, as well as her clients. "[Eden Salon] isn't a place where you come to work—this is a place where you change people's lives," she told us. "Even your own! You have so many clients on a day-to-day basis. When you come into contact with people, those are the moments where things happen. You just happen to be doing their hair."
And, the highly regarded salon doesn't just do hair...
