Morphing into Erika Jayne Is Easier Than You Might Expect

We're sure you've daydreamed about what it would be like to slip on a catsuit, rock some big platinum hair, and hit the stage as Erika Jayne. (C'mon, we know you have.) But, as it turns out, finding that inner pop goddess isn't as hard as you might imagine. Anyone can go from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Erika Girardi to Erika Jayne with the right attitude and, of course, the right outfits.

"For women out there who watch the show and see Erika doing her thing, I think it's really important that every girl, woman should reach inside of them, look in the mirror, and think about, 'If I could dress up any way [and] if I could have any outfit. If I could make my hair and makeup in any style, what would that be?' And it's easy to achieve that," Erika's creative director, Mikey Minden, explained to Bravo After Hours.

Once you know how you want to transform yourself, Mikey suggests going out and making it happen.

"Go to your local hair salon, go to your local MAC counter, go to whatever store and get whatever outfit," he said. "Go somewhere cool and find an outfit that makes you feel sassy and confident and sexy 'cause I think that all women at some point in their life deserve to feel that because it's a good feeling to just know that you don't have to wear jeans and a button-down and a sweater or skirt everyday. It's OK to explore fantasies. That's the fun part of life, and I think that's a big message of Erika's [that] when you hit a certain age you don't have to call it quits or roll over and die. I think that every girl has something inside of them, some inspiration that they want to explore... There's always a way."
