Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump Reconnect Over a Devastating Loss
Lisa Rinna shared the sad details backstage before the reunion started filming.
Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna did not end Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on the best of terms, but Vanderpump called Rinna to tell her that a friend they shared had been killed.
"Terry, who flew us to get the ponies, was so sadly killed in a helicopter accident," said Rinna. "It's really, really sad. It's tragic. That was the last time Vanderpump and I were connected, and I had a connection with this man."
Rinna is referring to Season 6, when the two of them flew to Ohio to get a miniature pony for Ken's birthday.
Rinna said, "That is in me today and colors a bit of my stuff with Vanderpump, because we shared a moment about someone that was a real dear human being who died tragically."
Vanderpump added, "You see that life is short and maybe it puts in perspective and he was such a wonderful person."
It also came up at the reunion, and the ladies disccused the effect it had on them.
