We Now Have a Better Understanding of Why Erika Girardi Broke Down in Hong Kong
Turns out there was more to that night than viewers saw.
For most of Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika Giardi was accused of being cold. So when fans finally witnessed her scream, "You don't know what I deal with every night" at Eileen Davidson, they were shocked. In fact, a lot of comments on social media questioned whether Eileen saying, "It's not like she killed your son" was worthy of such a reaction. But in Part I of the RHOBH reunion, Erika gave a bit more context around the situation.
As seen in the clip above, Erika revealed, "I just texted my boy right before we had dinner, and he was attending the funeral of a police officer who was murdered."
Erika says that losing her son is her greatest fear, and that once Eileen made the remark, she experienced "a moment of meltdown."
Erika did apologize to Eileen the next day in the most Erika Jayne way ever: by lending her Mikey and the rest of the glam squad.
