While getting ready for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12 reunion, Sutton Stracke revealed the thought process behind her Barbie-pink embellished Peter Dundas minidress. “The inspiration [for my reunion dress] was armor,” she told BravoTV.com backstage at the taping. “I’m pretty covered up today.”
During a cheeky game of “Truth or Drink!” on the Monday, October 17, episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Shahs of Sunset’s Mercedes “MJ” Javid was prompted to reveal the “meanest” thing her longtime friend Reza Farahan has ever said about another Bravolebrity. Despite Reza’s pleading for Mercedes to “take a drink, bitch,” the Iran native decided to spill some piping-hot tea: “Well, today, the meanest thing he’s ever said about another Bravolebrity [was about] someone on this stage,” she shared, as both the audience and host Andy Cohen gasped.
Mercedes continued, “It was about Sutton, and it was about her reunion dress.”
Sutton then fired back at what Mercedes implied was a little bit of fashion shade from Reza. “That dress was cute!” the RHOBH cast member retorted, regarding her long-sleeved number. “It’s very sexy from the back.”
“OK, but we saw it from the front,” Andy interjected, to which Sutton swiftly responded, “I know!”
The Southern belle didn’t seem bothered by the style notes and continued to be proud of her choice for the dramatic three-part reunion. Speaking with BravoTV.com ahead of the taping, Sutton also shared the inspiration for her hairstyle, noting that she and her glam team were trying a ponytail “for the first time.”
“We’re cutting shorter and shorter. I just want to keep it kind of clean and fresh. Not too much," she stated at the time.
