Lisa Vanderpump Spent How Much on Marble for Her $300,000 Kitchen?!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills matriarch is sparing no expense on her new all-white kitchen.
Lisa Vanderpump is a woman who knows what she wants… and what she wants is an all-white kitchen. “I want this and I deserve this and I’ve had a horrible time,” Lisa said earlier this season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “If I’ve learned anything of late, it’s to do what makes you happy. Surround yourself by people and things that make you happy.”
And what makes Lisa happy is a cheery kitchen (not the dark, “depressing” one she had previously). On last night’s episode we saw her heading to a marble slab yard to source the new countertops. Upon checking out the slab her designer had picked, Lisa quickly vetoed the choice because it was too dark.
With Ken’s help, Lisa picked out a brighter, whiter slab — and she needed a whole lot of it. Seven slabs to be exact, and at $2,400 each, her total was over $16,000! Whoa.
Did that affect her overall budget? According to Lisa, no. “We’re in the middle of the kitchen remodel, this kitchen is getting more expensive, so we need to keep this lid tightly on that $300,000. Otherwise I’m going to be in huge trouble. That piggy bank is empty!”
Well, there you have it, she’s not going a penny over her whopping $300,000 budget.
