The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband Mauricio Umansky’s latest real estate listing might not have all the hallmarks of his more traditional offerings: vast living spaces with high-end finishes, parking for 150 cars, a 10,000-bottle wine cellar. In fact, you won’t even find a front door attached to this property, since at present it is only a barren tract of land. So, what on earth is there to justify the $42 million dollar price tag, you may be wondering? Well, just one thing — actually three things, really: location, location, location!
The parcel in question lies directly on Broad Beach in celebrity haven Malibu, and it’s not just one parcel, it’s four.
“This once-in-a-lifetime development opportunity consists of four contiguous beachfront home sites totaling approximately 2.1 acres,” Mauricio wrote in an Instagram post. “The parcels may be purchased individually or as one, offering an unprecedented opportunity to develop a true magnum opus on one of Malibu’s most iconic beaches.”
On this famous stretch of beach, where modest (for billionaires) sized homes sit snugly next to each other, owning four lots is definitely a luxury. The prospective 22,800-square-foot offering would be one of the largest oceanfront estates ever built in Malibu, providing endless sea views on one side and stunning Santa Monica Mountain vistas in back.
All the buyer would have to worry about is dealing with all the fuss from having celebrity neighbors (Lady Gaga, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cindy Crawford also live in the vicinity) but with this much elbow room, privacy is not going to be a problem.
