This is Why Yolanda Hadid's Farm Is a Sanctuary for Her Supermodel Daughter Gigi
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter talks about how the rural home helps her find balance.
Yolanda Hadid bought a farm in Pennsylvania in 2017 so she could be closer to her model children Bella and Gigi Hadid in Manhattan, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum's estate has become a very special place for the whole family ever since.
Gigi conducted an interview there for the latest cover story of Elle, telling the publication that it's the place she goes when she's looking for a balance between her hectic work life and personal time.
"It’s where we can all come and feel like ourselves again," she said. "When I’m here, I just get in my truck and go to the store. Kids get excited at the market, but they don’t take their phones out. They want us to feel normal, and that’s very appreciated."
It's fortunate that the family can have such a wonderful escape within reach of their city lives — it's evident how much Gigi cherishes the home from her Instagram posts below.
When on the farm, Gigi can stroll lush botanical gardens (where Yolanda makes her own essential oils and is starting a gin line), ride horses, warm up in front of the outdoor fire table (or cozy fireplace indoors), and feed the chickens, goats, sheep, and Scottish highland cattle (the shaggy ones that look like they have bangs).
