Kyle Richards Reveals Her Family’s Glam Holiday Vacation Plans (and Why She Reluctantly Booked the "Beverly Hills" of Ski Destinations)

Did you think that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate Kyle Richards would be doing anything less than all-out glamorous with her family this holiday season? Of course not!

Indeed, the TV star mom has plans to hit the slopes for a luxurious ski trip with her brood. But it's not exactly the trip she'd have chosen if it was all up to her.

"We are taking our kids skiing in Aspen," Kyle told Jet Set at the Season 8 premiere party in West Hollywood's Doheny Room (clip above). "I'm more of a Vail girl, because I feel like Aspen is just like being in Beverly Hills — so I like to get away. But my girls like to see all of their friends there, so we caved last year and we’re going again this year. Aspen it is!"

There's a significant celebrity scene in Aspen, and that's not Kyle's bag.

"There’s a lot of that, which is what I don’t love about it," she told us. "But it’s a beautiful place, and my kids love it."

And Kyle's all about doing what keeps the family together these days. "At this point, they're at an age where [my motto is], if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. I’ll do whatever I have to do to be with my kids," she explained. "They’re at an age where [if I make a plan that doesn't interest them] they’re like no, were just going to do something else. OK, you win. We’re going to Aspen!"
