Kyle Richards may be rocking her exact haircut she had as a child, but The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills brunette shared a throwback shot that proves she can pull off just about any hair look — even when we can barely recognize her. Every time the Beverly Hills designer gifts us with a glamorous throwback shot it confirms that Kyle has always been a trendsetter, but her most recent '90s-era pic had us doing a double take thanks to her dramatically different 'do.
On December 8, Kyle posted a series of images to her Instagram Stories to celebrate her friend's b-day. In between the playful pics of Kyle shopping, dancing, and posing on top of tables (naturally), there was one old-school look that took us all by surprise.
The snapshot in question showed Kyle and her buddy smiling bright — in matching, choppy, blonde bobs! Yes, that's right, Kyle was a blonde back in the day, and in addition to the lighter hair hue she also chopped off her signature chest-length locks into a shoulder-length 'do.
Apparently, the totally '90s style wasn't a welcome change for Kyle's mom, according to her caption. Kyle hilariously wrote, "Remember when we thought it was a good idea to cut off our hair and our moms cried?"
