9 Stunning Tea Sets for a Lisa Vanderpump-Worthy Afternoon Tea

After all, a cup of tea should always be enjoyed in style.

By Angela Law

In moments of stress, in moments of celebration, in moments of … well, in any moment at all, Lisa Vanderpump loves her tea. (Catch up on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills here.) And apparently there's more to the British ritual than just a tasty drink: A recent National Institute of Health study found that theanine, an amino acid found in green and black teas, can cause calming effects because it regulates serotonin and dopamine in certain areas of the brain. It apparently also improves learning and memory. More the reason to invite the ladies over for a good gossip sesh? "Tea is relaxing" is the new "chocolate is good for you!"

How to Watch

Well, whether you believe in the health benefits or social benefits, there is something very therapeutic about enjoying a spot of tea with your besties. And, with a proper tea set, you too might build enough sass and class to find Lisa Vanderpump-level success! Who knows. We'll see. OK, probably not. Let's mull about it over a few cups of tea, shall we?

Duet Tea For Two Set

We start with a manageable set for two. Perfect for those intimate chats with your BFF.

Pukka Home Porcelain Tea Sets British Royal Series

One thing is for certain: Lisa Vanderpump loves pink. So, when we're trying our best to channel Lisa, naturally, we gravitate towards the rosy hue. As elegant as this tea set looks, it's also super durable making it the perfect day-to-day serveware.

Wedgwood Cuckoo Collection

Each of these pieces is sold separately so you can really personalize the look of your set. All birds? No problem. More pink? You got it!

15-Piece Coffee & Tea Set in High Capacity Floral Motif

This tea set is made of bone china, meaning it is actually made up of 45 percent animal bone ash. A little bit creepy, but kind of really luxrious at the same time. The bone ash also makes the white appear translucent in light.

Lomonosov 15-Piece Dining Tea Cup Set

This hand-painted porcelain is enriched by 24-karat gold. If that isn't Vanderpump-worthy, we don't know what is. This set is an homage to the first porcelain ever produced in Russia, in the 18th Century.

Polka Tea for One & Saucer

Sometimes, you just need to have a little tea party of one.

Gracie Bone China 11-Piece Tea Set, White Green Iceberg

Feminine without being girly, this tea set is a lovely choice for the discerning woman who knows exactly what she wants in life (to have several reality TV shows).

Miranda Kerr for Royal Albert

Yup. This is by Miranda Kerr, the supermodel. She apparently really likes to host parties at her home and decided to collaborate with a décor company to design serveware that she herself would want to use at her intimate gatherings. You'll notice butterflies as a motif because she finds them to be a symbol of freedom and joy.

Luca Andrisani Blue Azzurro Color Block Teapot by Lenox

For those of you looking for something more-contemporary and less-precious, this set, designed by architect Luca Andrisani, offers layering shades of blue in differeng brush strokes for a handsome rethinking of the traditional serveware. Highly recommended for the chic, modern home.
