If you love to snack throughout the day, you don't have to feel guilty about it: Teddi preaches the importance of stocking your fridge with healthy options like pre-cut fruits and veggies that you can grab when you need a quick fix. But if you're in need of something a little more filling, one of her (easy) go-to's is avocado with topped with Everything But the Bagel seasoning from Trader Joe's.

Get your greens in during lunch.
Teddi once shared on Instagram Stories that a "common lunch" for her is salad — and what better way to get your greens in than during lunchtime? One of her go-to combos, which she shared in IG Stories, includes arugula, tomatoes, chickpeas, avocado, brown rice, and beets, topped with lime juice as dressing. In another IG Story post, she gave us a peek at her "fave" salad from Tender Greens: the Happy Vegan!

Eat at the same time every day.
One way Teddi avoids cravings is by sticking to a strict eating schedule. By eating at the same time every day, you can try to curb some of those unexpected pre-dinner or midnight snack cravings. So, what exactly is Teddi's eating schedule? She broke it down on Instagram Stories: "Breakfast by 8. Lunch at noon. Dinner at 6." But regardless of what you eat and when, she's adamant that there's one thing you should consume first thing every day: "First, drink a glass of water before anything," she wrote on Twitter.

Drink tea to curb late-night temptations.
Teddi has said that one of her go-to dinners is soup, and she's shared on Instagram that she loves bone broth. But by eating something so light at the end of the day, how does she combat late night cravings? (She has said she gets a sweet tooth late at night, after all.) Tip No. 1: Take a bath or drink some tea (she's a big fan of sleepy time tea). "Baths and tea or warm water with lemon truly help," she said on IG stories. Tip No. 2: She says "getting to bed early" will help you avoid the desire to snack altogether!

Her go-to vacation drink is fruity and low-cal
It can be tempting to go all-out with sugary, fruity drinks on vacation, but beware! Your favorite frozen treats can also be high in calories, too. Teddi's go-to drink, though, is tropical and guilt-free! "My favorite tropical drink — I go with a prosecco with just a splash of orange juice, just because I think it's yummy," she told The Feast. "What I try to steer clear from is the piña colada, the strawberry daiquiri, the things that are filled with sugar, and then kind of make me feel full and tired, where this one, like, 'Whew!! Let’s go!'"

Focus on portion control
When it comes to making healthy eating choices, it's important not to forget about portion size, too. Luckily, there's an easy way to make sure you're not overloading your plate, and all you need is your hand! She went on Instagram Stories to explain the trick. "Portions are where most of us get it wrong," she wrote. "The hand test is a good one." She then laid her hand next to her lunch (which consisted of brown rice, veggies, an avocado) to show that your portion shouldn't exceed the size of your hand. Genius, right?

The best way to cure a hangover is to sweat it out.
Teddi knows how nasty some hangovers can be. After recovering from a night out, spending the day in bed and eating greasy food sounds like the perfect remedy... but Teddi's hangover cure is actually way healthier and better for your body: She hits a spin class. "I know it sounds crazy," she told The Feast. "I mean, Kyle and I always joke, ‘Alright, we gotta do SoulCycle — tomorrow’s the day!’ Because for me at least, especially after I drink, I have a little bit of anxiety. Like I’m looking for any little crumb of something I could have done wrong — I’m not the world’s best hungover person. But working out, drinking water, going down that rabbit hole [helps]. Grease does not make me feel better, even though I want it — but it doesn’t actually make me feel better."

Choose a food habit that works for you personally — not just the diet du jour.
Whether you choose to go vegetarian, vegan, Keto, or follow no diet at all, Teddi preaches the importance of doing what's right for you and your body. On Instagram Stories, she shared that while she's not vegan, she doesn't mix carbs with animal protein. Instead of limiting herself to the perimeters of a specific diet, she instead recommends changing your overall lifestyle in a way that is personal and holistic: "Diets don't work," she wrote on Instagram Stories. "Lifestyle changes do... once I stopped dieting and started changing my life, everything changed."

DO have cheat days!
No one is immune to cheat days — not even Teddi. We already know she loves to enjoy tropical drinks on vacation, but what else does the accountability coach love to indulge in? She dished on her philosophy to OK! magazine: "Allowing myself a day of cheating is a tricky path, so I'll just do a cheat meal — but I'll still keep it healthy," she said. "If you're going to have carbs, make them brown rice or Dave's Killer Bread. If you're going to have alcohol, skip dessert. It's one or the other. If you're craving a burger, skip the buns. Sweet potato fries instead of regular. You get the picture."
