Bonding Time
Kyle shares her hopes for Taylor, what she and her sister learned on the trip, and Portia's favorite pasttime.
This week's episode was quite a dramatic one. After talking to Taylor in the jacuzzi we all went in to get ready for dinner. Although Taylor and I had an emotional conversation in the jacuzzi, I wasn't prepared for what came next. Taylor clearly has a lot going on in her life that she is finding to be overwhelming. My heart goes out to Taylor.
Taylor is the one I knew the least when we started this show. She started to open up to me little by little. I think you can see by our conversation that I may not have known everything about their relationship. Of course, now, I know a lot more.
I felt sad hearing the things Taylor shared with Kim while laying on our bed. It seems Taylor keeps a lot inside. I just want her to feel safe enough with all of us to be open about what is really going on in her life -- that way we can all be there for her and support her.
I laughed at me coming out in my towel and seeing them on the bed together. I was thinking "Am I seeing things?" It makes me happy to see my sister "bonding" with the other girls. I know, in spite of everything, she enjoyed herself that weekend. Kim and I actually ended up having fun sleeping in the same room. Just like when we were little. Laughing and talking. . . including her talking in her sleep.
If it seemed like I didn't want to be at the dinner table it's because I was emotionally drained. When Lisa and I were "communicating with our eyes" our concern over Taylor, you can see that we both felt exhausted.
Leave it to Kim to lighten the moment with her magic napkin! I Hey, whatever works
I was excited to see Lisa at Sur because I know that whatever project she does will be fabulous. Can't wait!
Seeing Portia help me clean up poop with the pooper scooper was a nice break from the drama. I always laugh that she begs to clean it up, but I can't seem to get anyone else to do it!
